Alacris Names Bill Tompkins Market and Business Development VP

Will Lead Alacris’ Market Development Activities Through Next Phase of Growth

OTTAWA, March 12 /PRNewswire/ - Alacris(R) Inc., a developer of certificate management and identity assurance software products, today announced the appointment of Bill Tompkins as Vice President, Market and Business Development. In this role, Mr. Tompkins is responsible for leading the company’s market development activities world-wide including marketing, alliances and business development support.


Bill Tompkins is a seasoned executive with more than 18 successful years experience in the enterprise IT solutions industry, spanning senior management, market development, alliances, sales and project delivery. He has held leadership roles with Digital/Compaq, PRIOR and most recently xwave. During his tenure at xwave Bill led the corporate market and business development team, helping the company grow to become the 2nd largest Canadian IT Services firm.
