“Using a voice-activated RFID system, workers in a warehouse can initiate an RFID tag-reading station or dock door for shipping and receiving processes. Voice capabilities can be used for directing readers to identify tagged inventory, reconcile RFID data against ASNs and instruct workers on where to place the pallets or cases. With voice activation, workers no longer have to manually look up the location of where to place the shipment. If pallets are incomplete, the system can verbally notify the worker, who can immediately deal with exceptions.”
