Nine Zero first got attention with its iris scanners back during the Democratic National Convention. They were installed shortly before to ease the security concerns of DNC attendees staying at the Boston hotel.
It’s still the only hotel to have iris recognition in some of their high-end suites, making for a fast solution to that easily-misplaced and quick-to-malfuction keycard. Apparantly they also use LG’s technology to identify employees and vendors as well.
