There’s a free white paper available on zdnet (after registering for it, of course) called Biometrics: Protecting your Privacy and Identity. It just made an appearance in Google News, but the date of the white paper appears to be from 2002.
The value of a society itself can often be measured by how much value, recognition and protection it affords the rights of man as an individual.
