InfoWeek Story Says New Standard May 'Breathe New Life' into RFID

The ratification last week of an EPC standard could give RFID a needed boost by finally giving businesses a common method to capture and share collected data, reports tech mag InformationWeek.

In case you missed it, EPCglobal last week released the new EPC Information Services standard. It’s hailed as the next big – and likely bigger – thing since the much-hyped UHF Gen 2 passive RFID standard came to market. [end]
