Blue Vector Enjoys Lots of Press

Maybe it’s the lack of pharmaceutical products on the market that are geared toward the shift to RFID-based electronic pedigrees. Or maybe it’s because Blue Vector’s hot product is actually worth its salt.

Either way, the Palo Alto, Calif.-based RFID developer is enjoying lots of headlines for its newBlue Vector Pharmaceutical Edition.

The new system includes features like intelligent dock door, conveyor, shelf, and desktop RFID automation stations (either from Blue Vector or from third parties) as well as simultaneous support for multiple tag types including UHF, HF, and long range active RFID tags. [end] 

Visa has announced that 43 Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) Green Parking lots have adopted Visa payWave contactless payments.

The new system enables drivers to pay for parking by simply passing their payWave card near the contactless terminal to ‘check in’ to the parking lot, and once again when exiting to complete the transaction. Once the receipt is printed, the driver is free to exit.
