Thin Battery Appoints Experienced RFID Pro As Biz Development VP

Thin Battery Technologies, Inc., which manufactures thin, flexible, printed power source solutions, today announced that it has hired Peter J. Kuzma as Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

In this position, Kuzma will be responsible for leading Thin Battery’s sales initiatives in existing and emerging markets.

Prior to joining Thin Battery, Kuzma served as Vice President of Business Development for RCD Technologies, a Pennsylvania based RFID company.



Thin Battery Technologies Selects Peter J. Kuzma as Vice President of Business Development

As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Kuzma will be responsible for leading Thin Battery’s sales initiatives in existing and emerging markets.

Prior to joining Thin Battery, Kuzma served as Vice President of Business Development for RCD Technologies, a Pennsylvania based RFID company. Kuzma’s experience includes a strong electronics background coupled with 10 years business development experience within the RFID industry at Avery Dennison and X-ident. He also has prior operations and process/product development experience in the paper and converting industries with P&G and Avery Dennison. He holds a BSEE degree from Drexel University, an MBA from Scranton University, and second Master’s in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Texas Instruments (TI) introduced a pair of encapsulated RFID mini-transponders designed for applications in animal tagging and asset tracking.

The 12mm TRPGR30TGC and TRPGP40TGC mini-transponders were developed to enable users a battery-free solution for embedding RFID tags into smaller objects across a broader range of applications.
