Dubai Sports City uses BQT Solutions CCTV and access control system

Dubai Sports City (DSC), a multi-billion real estate project, has granted BQT Solutions the exclusive supply of CCTV/Cameras, BMS monitoring, E-Purse applications, Access Control systems and equipment which will be integrated as defined by DSC. This project will deliver a one card solution for this multi-purpose development, covering residential apartments and villas, commercial offices, sports stadiums, golf and tennis clubs and academies.

Travelers into Dubai International Airport will have the option of using an automated border crossing checkpoint, according to GulfNews.com.

Initially deployed in Terminal three, but expected to be rolled out throughout the airport, the system will read the passports and check the facial image and iris against a watch list. The entire process takes about 15 seconds.
