bioMETRX to Introduce New smartTOUCH™ Products in 2008

JERICHO, N.Y. — BioMETRX, a leading developer of biometrically secured consumer products, announced today that it is has officially kicked off development of several new smartTOUCH™ products for the consumer travel and residential markets expected to be available later this year.

“As consumer interest for fingerprint technology in everyday products increases, our product offerings will increase as well. Our primary goal is to take everyday consumer products and transform them for today’s lifestyle by incorporating the security and ease of use of our proprietary smartTOUCH™ finger activation technology,” stated Mark Basile, Chief Executive Officer for bioMETRX, Inc. “For example, identity theft through mailboxes has been a growing problem in the United States. Our smartBOX™ concept mailbox is being designed to solve this type of identify theft,” noted Mr. Basile. Identity theft prevention begins with consumers understanding how to best guard their personal information including how to protect themselves from mail theft. In the wrong hands, incoming mail poses a huge opportunity for ID thieves.

smartBOX™ is a finger activated locking mailbox that is specifically designed to prevent unauthorized access to mail, protecting identity and preventing fraud. smartBOX™, as with all smartTOUCH products, can be programmed to recognize up to 20 different users who can be deleted and replaced as needed. bioMETRX, Inc. is working with several mailbox manufacturers products to adapt its smartTOUCH™ technology.

“We are also developing an integrated biometric solution for luggage that is secured by the owner’s finger. The product called smartCASE™, will feature both finger activated security as well as the required TSA key override for checked baggage,” noted Mr. Basile. Theft can occur anywhere at an airport - at curbside, from checked luggage, in public areas before travelers go through security, at the security checkpoint and beyond. Information released by the Transportation Security Administration indicates that from 2002 to 2006 there were numerous reports of missing items, mostly jewelry, digital cameras, laptops, cell phones, clothing and medication. According to the TSA, passengers claimed most items were stolen after luggage was handed over to the airline.

smartBOX™ and smartCASE™ are the most recent examples of bioMETRX’s proprietary “powered by smartTOUCH®” platform providing simple solutions to everyday consumer concerns that include security of personal property and protecting identity.

The company’s smartTOUCH™ product line currently features a garage door opener, gate opener and USB memory drive for computers. The company also expects to launch two other products, its thermostat and a door lock, with its partners in 2008 as well.
