The new USB and contactless credit card released by the Shinhan Card Company in Korea earlier this month is said to be a secure option for purchasing online. In an interview with ZDNet Asia, Gartner analyst Avivah Litan said, “On the surface, it appears it will give users more security.” She continued to say that she expects the device to be a success because their research shows that consumers prefer devices that plug into PCs, compared to standalone devices, because it prevents the device from being misplaced if it is perpetually plugged in, Litan explained to ZDNet Asaia. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/archive-4.gif)
