Unified Barcode & RFID Hops on Green Bandwagon

As an organization, Unified Barcode & RFID is looking into using recycled boxes to ship orders, distributing invoices electronically, and conducting day to day business activities more eco-friendly, the company announced in a press release that hit the wires earlier.

The reason: As technology continues to become outdated and/or breaks down, it eventually finds its way into landfills, polluting our planet and playing a part in global warming.

Plus, many companies do not properly dispose of their Legacy data collection equipment and although the Barcoding industry has made more “Environmentally Friendly” equipment, the problems of yesteryear still exists. [end] 

ASAP Systems released the beta version of it cloud-based asset tracking software solution: Passport Asset.

The cloud-based asset tracking solution will enable customers can manage their inventory anywhere they have an internet connection on any type of device, whether it is a tablet, smart phone or a mobile barcode or RFID scanner.
