Mikoh's New Smart&Secure Transport

Mikoh Corporation has launched Smart&Secure Transport, a solution that provides certainty for assets shipped through government transport and supply chain applications, UsingRFID.com reports.

With Smart&Secure Transport, government organization may secure everything from weapons and classified documents, remain uncompromised - without physically monitoring the assets every step of the way (a functioning RFID tag indicates the asset has not been compromised). [end] 

Romanian bank BRD, a unit of Société Générale, has selected Oberthur Technologies to supply multi-application payment cards. These cards have payment scheme applications, as well as the ability to host transport, access control, PKI or biometric apps.
