New website launches for biometric products

A new web-based company offering cutting edge biometric technology has been launched by identity management consultants Human Recognition Systems (HRS). The website, www.simplybiometrics.com, features over 100 of the most robust products from leading companies such as Ingersoll Rand, Panasonic, Hitachi, Fujitsu, Sagem, Bioscrypt, CrossMatch and L-1. The site allows systems integrators, installers and security consultants to purchase biometric security products such as hand, fingerprint, face, iris or vein recognition. Biometrics firms Morpho and AOptix have formed a partnership to deploy advanced biometric systems targeted to border management and aviation security industries.

Under the terms of the partnership, AOptix products will be integrated into Morpho’s border management product line. This includes InSight Duo, AOptix’s combined face capture and iris recognition system.
