Student IDs breached in South Carolina

A missing desktop computer may contain the personal information of more than 7,000 people, including Social Security numbers, the University of South Carolina warns. The computer disappeared over Memorial Day weekend and was located in the business school. Students, faculty and staff who had information on the computer have been notified.
