TrenStar awarded RFID asset management patent

Tuesday, June 17, 2008

TrenStar announced that it has been awarded a patent for its RFID asset management process. The patent was granted based on TrenStar’s ability to capture data from multiple points, transmit unique asset identifiers to a data network, and then configure that network to provide detailed asset movement data in the form of custom reports.

TrenStar’s approach to tracking and managing assets has centered on driving information back to its client base. TrenStar was granted the patent because its process did not conclude with simply capturing data, but instead focused on storing, analyzing and granting its users access to that data in various forms. [end]
