Identity, Security, Payments, Biometrics, Smart Cards and Authentication News

Welcome to the new and improved site

Sunday, August 3, 2008

The site looks different, I know … but it is how it works rather than how it looks that I think you will come to appreciate.

In the past seven years, our editorial team has created more than 10,000 articles, news items and features covering the spectrum of identity, security, and credentialing. The body of knowledge contained in these archives is tremendous, but until now it was not easy to isolate the content you were seeking.

In the years since we began publishing, the ID industry has become far more specialized and focused. This redesign was done with this in mind, to make it easy for you to select your specific areas of interest and get to them directly.

The “Article Categories” on the left of side of the page facilitate this customization. And the ability to expand your search to include content from our other publications will keep you better informed than ever before, and serve as an unprecedented tool for research and project planning.

I invite you to explore the new format and click your way through related articles from the past and present. I hope you find our hard work beneficial. We did it for you, our readers, so please send me feedback on what works and what doesn’t work for you … it is a work-in-progress so keep your comments coming.

Thanks for reading.
