iDTRONIC has announced its new Compact Flash UHF Reader/Writer, supporting the full UHF frequency band from 860 – 960 MHz. It was developed to enable Pocket PCs, PDAs, handheld terminals and other mobile devices to access UHF smart labels, tags and ISO transponders.

The new reader earns its compact title, weighing only 30 grams and measuring 95mm x 60mm x 12mm despite being packaged in a tough ABS housing. The reading distance for the reader can be up to 50 cm, depending on the type and size of the used UHF transponder.
