RF Code allies with Animus Solutions

Asset-tracking solution provider RF Code has announced a strategic alliance with Animus Solutions, a provider of IT asset management and service management consulting. The partnership will work to introduce organizations to the benefits of active RFID systems in a range of IT asset processes, including asset identification and tracking for instant inventory and audit.


RF Code’s clients use its active RFID-based solutions in a variety of applications, including IT asset tracking, inventory management, personnel tracking and security. The company works with customers in the health care, retail, manufacturing and other industries.

Among its RFID-centered programs, Animus Solutions offers an “RFID Value Check” service, a quick review of IT business processes and systems which evaluates opportunities for RFID technology to enhance life cycle processes. Other RFID-oriented services include automation integration services and process development. [end] 

SML Group Ltd announced the launch of its new “ViziT” RFID item visibility solutions for the retail apparel and item tracking applications.

The ViziT solutions include a range of RFID/EAS enabled paper and woven labels, as well as tickets and sticker that can be attached to garments and stacked items. Using the SML ViziT IT cloud based data management software also provides for semi automated inventory control, as well as improved loss prevention by triggering alarms and item identification at the store exit.
