ThingMagic to showcase solutions at RFID World

ThingMagic Inc. is bringing along a few friends to RFID World. The RFID developer’s Las Vegas booth this week will feature demonstrations by Jamison Door, Lexmark, PANMOBIL, Seeonic and Venture Research, all featuring solutions enabled by ThingMagic Mercury RFID technology.


The demonstrations will include a variety of real-world RFID applications. Jamison Door, the world’s largest cold storage door company, brings its heavy-duty RFID portals used to accurately track goods during the manufacturing process and throughout the supply chain.

Lexmark, a provider of printing and imaging solutions, will showcase the Lexmark RFID UHF Laser Option, a printer drawer with an embedded RFID reader that enables customers to use existing T64x laser printers to print packing slips, shipping labels, and program RFID tags simultaneously on a single label. Seeonic, a developer of smart displays for retail, will display SmartWatch, a self-contained retail shelf that provides real-time inventory updates at the point of customer decision. [end] 

Trimble and TagMaster have partnered to integrate the ThingMagic Mercury5e embedded ultra-high frequency reader module into TagMaster’s new stationary readers.

TagMaster’s readers are designed for variety of purposes such as asset tracking applications in the railway industry, as well as hands-free solutions for personnel identification and vehicle access control.
