LEGIC Identsystems Ltd, a developer of contactless smart card technologies, has entered into a license agreement with ID specialist Databac Group to manufacture contactless smart cards.

Databac will serve at the local British manufacturer of plain and customized LEGIC cards. LEGIC cards comprise \13.56 MHz read/write technology. Different from other contactless technologies, which use passwords, LEGIC cards can only be encrypted using a unique master token, linking them directly to the readers used. [end] 

LEGIC has announced that the K&N Kenanga International building in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has installed a new physical access control using LEGIC’s contactless technology.

Located in Kuala Lumpur’s central business district, the Kenanga building is a 22-story commercial structure with a three-and-a-half-story annexed podium block.
