Charismathics, Raak Technologies partner

Charismathics, Munich, Germany, a provider of platform independent smart card and middleware, announced a partnership with Raak Technologies, Austin, Texas, to introduce the Charismathics strong authentication product line to Raak’s customers in the North American market.

Through the partnership, Raak Technologies will market and sell the Charismathics products to integrators, security software developers and hardware vendors throughout North America, and provide technical support for the North American market.


Charismathics’ flagship product, the Charismathics Smart Security Interface is an integrated, platform independent security middleware, and enables the use of smart cards, and USB tokens with all major standards compliant security applications.

CSSI also provides support for a variety of smart cards and tokens, including smart cards from all the major manufacturers such as Gemalto, NXP, Giesecke & Devrient, Siemens, Oberthur and Sagem. [end] 

The Dutch Ministry of Defense (MoD) has chosen Identive’s SmartFold smart card readers to provide secure remote network access for its employees.

The agency has a lot of restricted and sensitive data that has particular management requirements. The MoD felt that the Identive contact smart card reader would provide the desired level of security, yet be flexible enough to incorporate into the existing network security infrastructure.

NetSuite has partnered with CA Technologies to bring an increased level of security to NetSuite’s cloud-based products.

NetSuite will base its new authentication on CA Technologies’ Arcot WebFort product to offer two-factor authentication security. The additional security will support a variety of authentication methods and aims to offer enterprise-grade security for ERP, CRM, e-commerce and PSA.
