HID Global expands partnership with INSIDE Contactless

Secure identity provider HID Global, Irvine, Calif., has partnered with French contactless chip maker INSIDE Contactless to produce contactless prelaminates based upon the company’s MicroPass payment platform.

By extending their partnership, INSIDE will be able to provide card manufacturers with access to the MicroPass contactless payment platform coupled with contactless antenna technology in prelaminate packages from HID Global. [end] 

NXP Semiconductors and HID Global announced a partnership to create a global, generic mobile access solution for NFC-enabled mobile phones.

Developed jointly by the partners, the solution takes existing contactless cards that employees use to enter corporate buildings and parking garages and transfers them to the embedded NXP secure element on an NFC-enabled phone.
