Thursday, November 13, 2008

IdentiPHI, a developer of biometric technologies, have announced the release of their new software development kit, SAFauthenticator, which allows for users to add biometric authentication to existing applications. The new kit is designed specifically for integration of IdentiPHI’s SAFsolution 5 biometric solution.

The new software kit will enable them to work with new companies that had applications that SAFsolution was previously unable to work with; specifically those in the ISV, value added reseller and distributor, systems integrator, and the general developer markets. In addition to new application support, SAFauthenticator has expanded support for C++, Java and .NET programming languages, and now allows for biometric enrollment including capturing and storing of data. [end]
