Dynamic enters new distribution agreement

Dynamic Biometric Systems, a developer of biometric technologies, has announced that they have signed a distribution agreement with ArcWare Solutions for their Bio-Pen-based products aimed at students taking higher education classes remotely. Under the agreement, ArcWare and their reseller FL-EX Holdings will serve as resellers of Dynamics products through both sales and developing the distance learning channel to market the products.

The agreement was signed due to the passing of the Higher Education Opportunity Act which requires higher education institutions offering online courses to have a process through which the institution can be assured that they individual who has signed up for the course is the one taking it. [end] 

Lumidigm has announced that it has entered a partnership with identity solutions distributor IdentyTech Solutions for distribution in Israel.

The new agreement will see IdentyTech’s terminals and other identity solutions integrated with Lumidigm’s multispectral fingerprint scanners, which use both surface and subsurface fingerprint data for a more accurate print match in both good and poor environments. In addition to the agreement expanding Lumidigm’s reach, IdentyTech is also involved in field testing Lumidigm’s products bringing them new clients as well as new applications for use of the technology such as civil ID and access control applications.

EarthSearch Communications has entered into a partnership agreement with Cynox, the Nigerian technology solutions provider, to monitor fuel levels in oil tankers.

In Nigeria, the cancellation of government oil subsidies has lead to increasing concerns over oil theft. EarthSearch’s integrated RFID and GPS product, together with level sensor technology will be used to monitor sudden drops in fuel level to detect the unauthorized siphoning of oil from the top of tanker.

Stevenson High School, Lincolnshire, Ill., is piloting a program that can track students on school buses. The goal is to increase safety while determining more efficient bus routes. The school rolled out the program in late January that provides each student with a card that the student uses as he enters or exits a school bus.
