PerSay chosen by West Interactive

Friday, December 19, 2008

West Interactive, a provider of outsourced communication technology, has announced that they have chosen PerSay, a developer of voice biometric technology, to provide them with voice-biometric systems. The product, PerSay’s VocalPassword, works independent of language and accents as well as being able to be easily integrated into existing VoiceXML systems.

VocalPassword operates by matching a sample given by a user to the one stored when the user first signs up. Additionally, the authentication happens in real-time so there is no lag for a user. [end]
