AeroScout Inc., provider of Unified Assets Visibility solutions, has announced a series of strategic partnerships with an eye toward expanding its European market presence. Through the partnerships, firms including Dimension Data, Hewlett Packard, Nextira One and Telindus become AeroScout Gold-Level Value Added Resellers and will offer AeroScout’s Wi-Fi Active RFID solutions to European organizations in a variety of industries.

AeroScout already has numerou customers throughout the European market. Several customers have large active RFID deployments, each with more than 15,000 assets tracked. The company’s MobileView software is available in a number of major European languanges, including French, German, Spanish and Portugese. The new deal, however, adds to a list of major partners who will offer AeroScout solutions to complement their WLAN and networking platforms, industry expertise and integration services in Europe.

Rhode Island health system boosts patient care with AeroScout RTLS

AeroScout is working with Siemens Healthcare to deploy AeroScout’s real-time location system to help health care organizations improve operations and quality of care.

Most recently Siemens implemented AeroScout’s Temperature Monitoring solution across three of Lifespan’s hospitals in Rhode Island. Using its existing Wi-Fi network, Lifespan is monitoring and managing the temperature of hundreds of refrigerators that contain critical items, such as pharmaceuticals, blood, and research materials.

Contiental Tires deploys RFID solution from AeroScout

AeroScout was recently selected to implement and integrate its Wi-Fi RFID-enabled Work-in-Process (WIP) Visibility solution for a Continental Tire factory in France.

Traditionally, manually locating the large carriers used for material transport was challenging and inefficient, resulting in wasted time and materials. With the AeroScout solution, Continental Tire employees can check where a carrier is located in real-time from a Wi-Fi enabled computer.

COTEMAR taps AeroScout to enhance offshore platform safety

AeroScout announced that COTEMAR, S.A. de C.V., is using AeroScout’s real-time location system (RTLS) to enhance worker safety on its four offshore housing platforms.

The AeroScout Worker Safety solution used by COTEMAR includes AeroScout MobileView software and Wi-Fi RFID tags attached to a lanyard that must be worn by every staff member, guest and visitor during their stay at one of the facilities.

AeroScout and McRoberts Security unveil Wi-Fi RTLS, infant security solution

AeroScout and McRoberts Security Technologies have jointly developed a Wi-Fi-based, campus-wide infant security solution designed to help protect newborns from possible abduction during their hospital stays.
