Payne Security delivers ID card solution to London university

Monday, February 16, 2009

UK-based Payne Security has installed a card management service at the University of Greenwich in London that allows the school to provide students with new personalized ID cards. Before, the university had produced laminated cards using in-house equipment, but many students complained the results were unprofessional.

Payne Security’s service removes the high cost both of equipment and staff time as well as optimizes the appearance and security of cards thanks to its digital printing facility. The result has been a secure and attractive card that affords a strong university identity and removes the risk of the card being copied. The card also identifies the type of student–research, partner or associate–by means of a distinctive stripe.
