TradeHarbor, a provider of voice authentication solutions, has announced a partnership with the Voxeo Corporation, the provider of the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, to provide users of Voxeo’s systems with TradeHarbor’s Voice Signature ServiceSM. The voice authentication system from TradeHarbor, implemented as a Web service, will be able to identify individuals by their voice when they call into the various call centers using the IVR service for better security of customer information.

For a user to use this service they must have already been enrolled when they call the call center and they will prompted to repeat a dynamic phrase that we will be checked to authenticate the user. In addition to authenticating for access to an account, the system also keeps an audit trail for increased accountability. [end]
