Experchem implements biometric time and attendance system

Experchem Laboratories, a government-accredited laboratory that develops pharmaceutical products, has announced that it has implemented a biometric time and attendance system from biometrics developers Mitrefinch and L-1 Identity Solutions, according to a Security Park article.

Prior to the new system, Experchem was using a paper-based system that was both cumbersome and time-consuming for tracking employee hours.


The new system now sees employees using a contactless smart card or a key fob in conjunction with a fingerprint sample to clock in and out.
