House committee approves TSA authorization

The United States House of Representatives’ Homeland Security Council has approved legislation for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) authorization for various security issues at American airports, according to an article from Aviation News Today. Among the security issues contained in the legislation are airport information sharing and biometric security. The bill is expected to move to the House floor this week.
