VeCommerce delivers biometric solution to Aviva

Salmat VeCommerce, a developer of customer service solutions, has announced the implementation of VeSecure to Australian life insurance and wealth management company Aviva Australia.

VeSecure will be used to identify Aviva customers calling Aviva’s call center via their unique voice characteristics to properly forward their call to the correct person. Aviva hopes the solution will greatly improve its capabilities in regards to over-the-phone customer interactions. [end] 

Multicard has expanded the availability of its Cashless Betalen mobile payments solution in The Netherlands to catering and food service providers.

Following the initial successful launch of the solution in Dutch sports clubs, Multicard is now signing up commercial caterers who will use Cashless Betalen to enable NFC payments in company and school cafeterias across the country, according to Multicard.

Administrators at eduKan, a consortium of six Kansas colleges created to offer online courses, are using BioSig-ID, a software only biometric solution, to discourage cheating among students involved in the schools’ distance education programs.
