ITC installs new copy system at California university

Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Toronto, Canada-based ITC Systems has implemented a new library student pay for copy/print solution at the University of California at Irvine. The project involved replacing existing copier stored value readers with ITC’s online NetLink copier terminals.

“There were some initial teething issues with matching software systems and networks. However, we were able to jump on solutions quickly and ensure the UC Irvine library site experienced little or no downtime,” said ITC CEO Campbell Richardson.

The University’s library is using the ITC Systems’ flexible Multiplan Gold database program coupled with its networked Print Manager Suite.

ITC Systems specializes in Integrated Transaction Control Systems. The firm designs, develops and implements cash card management systems on university campuses and in public libraries, government departments, food service environments and other closed institutional settings. [end]
